Eligibility criteria

• Abstract should be based on original research.

• Presenters with accepted abstracts will have to register for the full conference; otherwise, their abstract will be retracted.

• Each presenter will be allowed to submit only one research paper but can be a co-author on more than one abstract.

• Abstract must be submitted in English (or Bahasa Melayu – for paramedics only).

• Studies conducted in MOH facilities must submit NMRR ID with their abstract.

• Final selection will be made by a panel appointed by the Terengganu Scientific Conference Scientific Committee.

Submission guideline

• All abstracts must be submitted to Terengganu Scientific Conference secretariat in Microsoft Word .docx file format via abstract submission form.

• Abstracts must be submitted by 15th June 2025. Late submission or incomplete abstracts will not be accepted.

• Presenters will be notified of abstract acceptance by 30th June. All communication will be through email of the presenting author as indicated in the abstract submission form.

Abstract format

• The structured abstract should have a word count between 250 to 300 words. Please refer to the following structured abstract formats.

• Authors’ name and institutional affiliation must be written in full. Please make sure all authors contributed significantly to the research project.

• The abstract title must be in Title Case. The title should be brief and clearly indicate the content of the abstract.

• Abbreviation must be defined by placing it in parenthesis after the full word, the first time it appears.

• Use numerals to represent numbers except when beginning a sentence.

• Failure to follow the given format will disqualify your submission.

• Best Oral Presentation x6

• Best Poster Presentation x6

• Judges’ decisions are final. No correspondence would be entertained

ePoster submission

• Authors of abstracts that are selected for poster presentation will be required to submit an e-poster using the online e-poster submission form.

• E-poster must be in the A4 size format with landscape orientation.

• The e-poster will be given an ID number and listed in the program book, which can be downloaded on the day of the event.
